At times we travel a path we believe leads to a particular place, but look suddenly about ourselves at some point and realize we are utterly lost. There is a source of guidance, based on our true nature, that is always accessible. Throughout the history of mankind, this source has been present - in every culture, under all circumstances. Never has man been deprived of access to this help. Many are the occasions when this guidance isn't sought or followed, but never has it been withheld.
It wafts over us like the breeze or bathes us in its light like the rays of the sun, unceasingly. But unlike earthly wind or rays, this guidance requires deliberate turning towards it - a voluntary and humble opening of the heart and mind. Like the lover who becomes open and receptive to the love of the beloved.

Line, over the line
And in that vague land
we wander lost
Time, O it takes some time
To follow the stream home
Back over the line
You didn’t tell me
And I wouldn’t know
But for the breeze ever blowing
On that River-wind
the River-wind.
New, like the break of dawn-tide
Each breath one that’s untried
As I spread my wings
Pain and ecstasy flow
Like the twin wings of flight
As I gain my sight
Now, I stagger and run
Like a lover in springtime
With his heart on the line
His heart on the line
O SON OF BEING!
Love Me, that I may love thee. If thou lovest Me not, My love can in no wise reach thee. Know this, O servant.
