The experience of having our past continually call out and pull on us - not unlike the pull of gravity - is one with which many of us are familiar. If that past was a good one it becomes an aid to growth and development. But all too often that past was dark, leaving scars and old unhealthy habits.
The pull of gravity can only be resisted by a greater force. A new home, a new state of being, can be established only by the exertion of our will and the engaging of that Force which is greater than the gravitational pull of our past.
The most powerful force in existence is the spirit of regenerative love that emanates from those beings we have variously referred to as Prophets, Messengers or Manifestations of God.
May we seek the reality of Their Purpose, engage the creative power of Their Words and Teachings. May we, through Them, resist the pull of a dark past...and create a new home.

Words & Music by Bob Ryan (c)1994
If I could find my way back home
I know I’d find but brick and stone
That place that calls to me through time
It’s mere dust that I’d find
Its skies and hills once spoke to me
I grew and flourished in its sea
But now I ask it let me be
To leave me alone, this home
You’ve taken over my heart
You’ve taken over my heart
Slipped in the window
Pierced with an arrow…my heart
Sometimes I catch a glimpse and sigh
My hands outstretched, and still I try
A little close every day
It’s been sown, my home
You’ve taken over my heart
You’ve taken over my heart
Slipped in the window
Pierced with an arrow…my heart
